Our Research is centered around three pillars:
- Develop a better understanding of the biological and behavioural mechanisms involved in the development and progression of chronic diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, obesity, pain and cancer.
- Develop and implement interventions that have a high likelihood of improving the lives of individuals who suffer with chronic disease.
- Establishing an international interdisciplinary training network with the goal of disseminating evidence-based recommendations and facilitating healthcare provider behavior change.
